Information we collect
When you contact us or request that we verify your insurance coverage, we may collect your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, insurance card images, and a description of your health concern. Health-related information is collected only through our secure, HIPAA-compliant intake form and is handled in accordance with applicable healthcare privacy laws.

- To provide and coordinate your care
How we protect your information
Patient intake information is stored with a HIPAA-compliant service provider under a Business Associate Agreement. Access is limited to clinic staff who need it to assist you.
Information sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding vendors acting solely on our behalf to deliver messages to you.

Lao Lao Acupuncture Center may send text messages related to your care, such as appointment reminders, scheduling updates, and responses to your inquiries.
